Reclaiming land

After the company asked the government for full ownership in 2015, the Bengaluru Urban District deputy commissioner ruled that 3.23 acres of land from the project be taken back. In 2005, the plot was given to Joy Ice Creams for a software park. In 2006, the Special Deputy Commissioner gave it to the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB).

Land Dispute

The High Court of Karnataka overturned the State government's 2015 order to take back the land in October 2017. They did this because they found no evidence of fraud. The court also said that things that are already set in stone cannot be changed just because a new organization takes over.
